The course focuses on integrated care for children and young people in a variety of settings.
You will learn to value the needs of children and their families through their on-going involvement in the curriculum. You will acquire a wide range of children’s nursing skills and in depth knowledge of developmental anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology and pharmacology.
You will develop skills in communication, health assessment, professional practice, evidence based practice, knowledge of public health and policy, and legal and ethical issues.
This course will help ensure that the qualities of care, compassion, courage, competence, commitment and communication underpin all your professional practice as a Children and Young People’s Nurse.
